Actress Priyanka Chopra who has grabbed many awards for her acting skills has been recognised for her indulgence in social activities.
She has been honoured with Mother Teresa Memorial award 2017 for social justice.
She lent her support to social causes, such as her recent visit to Syria, where she met and interacted with refugee children and this led her to receive this year's Mother Teresa Memorial award.

She has also given her voice to the “End Violence against Children” campaign, which aims at raising awareness about different forms of violence, including physical, emotional and sexual, and child marriage.
