Assam Spring Festival was organised in Manas National Park to promote the local food and culture. During the two-day long festival, the visitors experienced the mesmerizing local food, music handloom and handcraft.

Highlights of the event
- About 32 households were trained for the maintenance of hygiene and the basics of the service industry. They managed home stays and serving the guest homemade food.
- With this initiative, the residents got a chance to provide the guests a stay at their homes and showcase and sell their products.
- The itinerary of the festival includes village tours, exposition of local handicraft and handloom, cultural showa, local folk music and tasting of local cuisines and delicacies.
