Let's Play !! The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) will set up ‘Design University for Gaming’ in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
- To move ahead in this direction, UNESCO delegation has entered into an agreement with Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB).
Information that we have so far about the Design University for Gaming:
- The Design University for Gaming will help UNSECO to develop edutech gaming in state, with the target of providing 50,000 jobs in 10 years.
- UNESCO has requested State Government to provide 100 acres of land in Visakhapatnam for developing the city as International Gaming and Digital Learning Hub.
- Gaming and IT giants like UBSoft, Samsung, Microsoft etc are ready to establish their centres in Visakhapatnam.
