- Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, Union Minister of State for Culture& Tourism inaugurated the exhibition PRA-KASHI on the finest trends of contemporary weaving, in New Delhi on 9th September 2019.
- India has participated in the 84th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) held in Greece. The TIF is an annual international exhibition held in Thessaloniki, in the 1st week of September every year since 1926. Minister of State (MoS) for Commerce and Industry, Hardeep Singh Puri participated from India in the exhibition.
- Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry has launched Plastic Waste Management Campaign for Swachhta Hi Sewa 2019 under which DPIIT will ensure recycling of plastic waste collected on 2nd October 2019 in cement kilns and second, collect plastic waste through nationwide shramdaan on 2nd October 2019.
- The first ever cross-border petroleum products pipeline in South Asia, the Motihari-Amlekhganj petroleum product pipeline has been inaugurated by India and Nepal Jointly.
