- The Bangladesh Television (BTV), a state-owned TV channel has started telecast in India on DD free dish from 2nd September 2019 as per the agreement signed in May 2019 to make BTV and DD available in both the countries. The broadcast will be done by using the country's first communication satellite Bangabandhu 1.
