- Arvind Ganpat Sawant, Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises resigned from the Union Council of Ministers. Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has been assigned the additional charge of the Ministry.

- Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has inaugurated the Assamese version of the book “Courts of India” in Guwahati on 10th November 2019. The book is published by the Publication Division, Information and Broadcasting Ministry and depicts history about the developments that took place in nation’s courts.
