- The Government of India has announced that India will switch to the world's cleanest petrol and diesel from 1st April 2020. With this, India will join the select League of Nations using petrol and diesel containing just 10 parts per million of sulphur.
- The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the upward revision of interest subvention from "upto 2%" to "upto 2.5% p.a." under the scheme Dairy processing and Infrastructure Development Fund (DIDF) on 19th Feb 2020.
- Mahant Nritya Gopal Das has been elected as the President of Ram Mandir Trust. The 15-member trust also include Nripendra Misra, former principal secretary of Prime Minister Modi will be the head of the temple construction committee and Champat Rai as the general secretary.
- Ashraf Ghani has won a second term as President of the Afghanistan on 19th February 2020 with 50.64 per cent of votes.
- The Women's Committee of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced that India will host the 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup.
