Agreement--- UNIDO and CUTS to Achieve 2030 Sustainable Development Goal

Current Context: United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has signed an agreement with the Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS) to support the ongoing activities to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).
Agreement--- UNIDO and CUTS to Achieve 2030 Sustainable Development Goal
  • Both organizations are together going to motivate and empower consumers to come together and make contribution to global development goals as well as support their respective government in the time of global crisis which has arisen due to COVID-19.
  • The agreement is valid for 5 years of span and their aim is to create joint technical co-operation to achieve 2030 SDG even though the global economy is suffering due to COVID-19.
  • As per the MOU, CUTS will contribute their support to e-commerce and will provide a platform to accelerate member states' transition to the digital economy and to adapt the 4th Industrial Revolution by promoting rule-based trade, good governance, and effective regulations.
