Current Context: Madhya Pradesh Government has launched a ‘Jivan Shakti Yojana’ for womens.
- The scheme is launched with an aim to provide an earning source for women as well as the womens will helpful to provide the protective masks to the community and health workers amidst COVID-19.
- Under the scheme, women will prepare masks at homes in the urban areas and will be able to earn profit.
- The Government will give Rs 11 per mask to them immediately.
- The mask is to be made of cotton cloth. After preparing the masks, womens are supposed to deliver the masks to the nodal officer of their urban body.
- The process of payment will be initiated immediately when the womens will deliver the mask.
