Current Context: The NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg appointed a group of experts for the reflection process.
- The panel will offer a recommendation to increase political consultation, coordination between the allies, reinforce alliance unity and strengthen NATO’s political role.
- For this, a group of five men and five women will be co-chaired by former German defence minister Thomas de Maziere and Washington’s former top diplomat for Europe Wess Mitchell. And they will report to the Secretary-general.
