Current Context: Ministry of Tourism has launched the “Stranded in India” portal with a view to helping foreign tourist who are stuck in various parts of the country.

  • The web address of the portal is strandedinindia.com.
  • The portal consists of COVID-19 helpline numbers and call centers so that foreign tourist can reach out for help.
  • Also, it contains information of the Ministry of External affairs control centers along with their contact information and information around state based and regional tourism support infrastructures.
