Partnership- Bharatpe and ICICI Lombard Tied up to Provide COVID-19 Insurance

Current Context: Bharatpe and ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited partnered to introduce “COVID-19 Protection Insurance Cover” for the shopkeepers across India who are most affected financially due to COVID-19.

• As per the insurance policy, shopkeepers will get 100% of their hospitalization expenses if they are the sufferers of COVID-19. They will get 100% of the opted sum insured as a lump sum in the event of the first diagnosis itself.
• The starting price of the premium for the health cover is Rs 199, which provides a sum of Rs 25000 to the insured along with benefits like health assistance, chat/virtual assistance, teleconsultation and ambulance assistance.
• The insurance policy is designed for the people in the age group 18-65 years.
