Current Context: Naval Dockyard Vishakhapatnam has designed portable ‘Multifeed Oxygen Manifold (MOM)’ to fulfill the requirements of oxygen supply for the number of patients due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Portable Multifeed Oxygen Manifold – Designed by Naval Dockyard Vishakhapatnam
  • The Portable Multifeed Oxygen Manifold is fixed in a single-cylinder using six-way radial header.
  • This will enable one oxygen bottle supply to about six patients at a time.
  • The trials for the same were conducted at the MI room at Naval dockyard, Vishakhapatnam. Here it was successfully installed within 30 minutes.
