IFFCO signs MoU with ICAR

Current Context: Indian Farmers and Fertilizer Co-operative Ltd (IFFCO) has signed a MoU with Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in order to carry out research, testing

and validation of various products through ICAR institutes and Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs). 

• The partnership will explore technological advancements through training programs, campaigns, field trials, demonstrations which will prove beneficial to farmers.
• The partnership will reduce chemical fertilizer usage by replacing it with the usage of technology and by training farmers to use this approach in their farms.
