Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System (BLUIS)

Current Context: Chief Minister of Odisha has launched Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System (BLUIS) which is the web and mobile based solution to monitor the unauthorized change of land use.
Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System (BLUIS)
  • This system will help to prevent the encroachment of government lands. 
  • The BLUIS will detect all the changes that are taking place on government lands and will provide an alarm if any unauthorized activity is detected by it on government land.
  • It is a repository system which is made by using high resolution satellite imagery.
  • It is encorporated with GPS, which provides the exact location to authorities along with video and image evidence to them.
