Current Context: The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) has been accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration
CIPET Accredited to Test and Certify PPE Kits
Laboratories (NABL) to test and certify Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) kits.
  • The CIPET comes under the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers.
  • The CIPET had initially developed the testing facility of PPE kits at its IPT Centre, Bhubaneswar and had send an approval of accreditation to NABL.
  • After conducting an online audit of the PPE Testing kits, NABL has granted the accreditation to CIPET.
