Current Context: Indian Navy has conducted a naval exercise in Andaman and Nicobar Island.

  • The exercise was conducted with aircraft and warships from Andaman and Nicobar Command and Eastern Naval Command.
  • The Poseidon-8I aircraft was part of the exercise. It is equipped with Harpoon Block-II missiles, MK-54 lightweight torpedoes, rockets.
  • Also the destroyer, frigates and submarines were showcased in the exercise.
