IIT-Hyderabad partners with NVIDIA

Current Context: Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad has partnered with NVIDIA which is a multinational company to establish research AI centre.

• The centre will be named as ‘NVIDIA Artificial Intelligence(AI) Technology Centre'(NVAITC).
• Both entities will work to enhance AI technology application in fields like agriculture, smart cities and language understanding.
• The projects on which they will be working are increasing crop yields using AI technology and its algorithm and in developing a safe transportation system and providing better ways to manage traffic.
