Power Finance Corporation signs MoU with IIT Kanpur

Current Context: The Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has signed MoU with IIT Kanpur to work in the upliftment of the smart grid technology.

• The two entities will be working to provide training, carry out research activities and to generate entrepreneurship development for Smart Grid Technology in India. 
• PFC will provide support to IIT Kanpur in terms of the development of infrastructure to conduct research and development in smart grid technology.
• Financial support of Rs 2,38,97000 will be provided by PFC to IIT Kanpur.
