Current Context: On 17th August, the 13th session of India-UAE Joint Commission Meet on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation was conducted virtually.
- The meeting was conducted between Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
- Both the respective members of the countries discussed the ways to boost trading and economic activities and the situation in the neighborhood of both countries.
- India has invited investments from UAE in building the infrastructure for the sectors like food, parks, logistics, airports and renewable energy.
