ARHCs Knowledge Pack & Mobile App of CREDAI

Current Context: Minister of State (independent charge) for MoHUA (Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs) has launched Affordable Rental Housing Complexes Pack and an Awaas app

for Confederation of Real Estate Developers and Association of India (CREDAI).

• The launching took place via video conference under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) (Urban).
• Affordable Rental Housing Complexes Pack is a sub-scheme under PMAYA. The scheme will prove beneficial to around 3.5 lakh people.
• ARHC Knowledge Pack will provide affordable rental accommodations to urban poor and migrant workers. Government is also considering 100% FDI in this scheme.
