Conference on ‘Ease of Doing Business for Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’

Current Context: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated a conference on ‘Ease of Doing Business for Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’.

• This ‘Ease of Doing Business for Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’ is national digital conference of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with Department for Promotion of Investment and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
• The conference was conducted to discuss the upcoming industrial approvals, projects and to improve the business sector in order to achieve ease of doing business factor in India in all terms like infrastructure, technology, manpower, employment skills etc.
• The stakeholders and business owners participated in the conference along with delegates of CII, where they discussed to enhance regulatory reforms for the businesses in India.
• Union Minister Piyush Goyal addressed the conference by mentioning the points like developing a single window digital system which will provide unified and integrated businesses. He also mentioned to promote finance for investments in businesses and to have the regulatory policy for industrial and corporate sector in India.
• He also focused to have relax restrictions on export policy in India.
