Current Context: The National Highway Authority of India has signed an MoU with IIT Delhi to make use of Artificial Intelligence in data-driven decision making and to develop ADMS
(Advanced Data Management System for Highways) Highways in the country.
- Both the entities will work in coordination in the areas like Project management and data management, highway network traffic demand, incident management, safety on highways, highway work zone management and to develop highway pavement management system.
- The technical support inputs and AI technology usage to NHAI will be offered by IIT Delhi.
- The financial supports will be provided by NHAI.
