- To frame and release this report, NITI Aayog was partnered by Institute of Competitiveness.
- The EPI 2020 identifies challenges and opportunities along with the encouragement of facilitative regulatory framework.
- The ranking for EPI 2020 is topped by Gujarat.
- The second and third position in EPI 2020 is marked by Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu respectively.
- The reason behind the top three positions marked by these states is that their location is near the coast.
- On the basis of landlocked states, Rajasthan has marked the top position, and followed by Telangana and Haryana.
- From Himalayan states, Uttarakhand has topped the position. From the Union Territories, Delhi has topped the position followed by Goa and Chandigarh.
- The parameters which were considered for EPI 2020 are: Policy, Business Ecosystem, Export ecosystem and Export Performance.
