‘Pensioners Corner’ Mobile App—By CISF

Current Context: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has developed and launched a mobile app called ‘Pensioners Corner’.

• It is the in-house mobile phone application which is developed with an aim to give benefits to the pensioners. The app provides them with a digital platform with all the pension details as a one-stop solution. 
• The ‘Pensioners Corner’ app allows the connectivity of pensioners to the CISF units by sending SMS to them.
• Also, the grievances redressal mechanism feature is also inbuilt in the app. 
• The app provides data like important notice circulars, job opportunities, various current benefits for pensioners.
