- The meet was held with an aim to improve the trilateral relations in various sectors of these countries.
- The meet was co-chaired by Foreign Secretary of India, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs Secretary-General, Francois Delattre and Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Secretary, Frances Adamson.

They assured to achieve economic and geostrategic reforms with the cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region with reference to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
- They also assured to cooperate in marine global common and potential sectors like the blue economy, marine biodiversity and marine pollution. They assured to increase cooperation in these three nations with the help of organisations like ASEAN, IORA and Indian Ocean Commission.
