Current Context: Government of Delhi has launched the 2nd edition of Anti-Dengue Campaign.
- The name of the campaign is ‘10 Hafte-10 Baje-10 Minute’ or 10 Weeks-10 o’clock, 10 Minutes.
- The campaign is not only launched to eradicate dengue but also for other vector borne diseases.
- Under this campaign, the residents of Delhi are asked to take out 10 minutes of time to conduct cleaning and sanitizing activities at their homes and in surroundings. They are also asked to inspect their own residence for clean stagnant water in order to avoid mosquito breeding and thus to prevent diseases like dengue, malaria etc.
- Under this campaign, Delhi’s residents are also asked to make a phone call to any 10 relatives or friends and advise them to be the part of this campaign and carry out cleanliness activities.
