- The ‘Ghar Tak Fibre’ scheme is launched by following the motto of Digital India programme and the scheme will be connecting 45,945 villages of Bihar through optical fibre internet service.
- The ‘Ghar Tak Fibre’ scheme will help the citizens of Bihar to avail digital services like e-education, e-agriculture, telemedicine, tele-law and other digital-based schemes of Bihar state.
- The scheme will be executed by the Department of Telecom (DoT), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Common Services Centers.
- Also, PM Modi launched Nine Highway Projects allotted with the funds of Rs 14,528 crores.
- The Nine Highway Projects includes constructing six-lane highways and three bridges on rivers. The highway project will construct the roads of 350 km.
- The highway roads will offer connectivity among Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh.
