Current Context: The India Happiness Report 2020 is released which covers all Indian states and union territories.

• The report measures happiness across the country contributing to peoples happiness and COVID-19 impact on happiness. 
• The report is the analytical study covering 16,950 people between March 2020 to July 2020. The study is done by Prof. Rajesh K Pillania. 
• Overall States and UT which marked the first three rank position in India Happiness Report 2020: Mizoram (Rank 1), Punjab (Rank 2) and Andaman and Nicobar (Rank 3). 
• The big States which marked the first three rank position in India Happiness Report 2020: Punjab (Rank 1), Gujarat (Rank 2) and Telangana (Rank 3).
• The small States which marked the first three rank position in India Happiness Report 2020: Mizoram (Rank 1), Sikkim (Rank 2) and Arunachal Pradesh (Rank 3).
