Research Capacity in Neighboring Countries’.
- The ‘Strengthening Clinical Trial Research Capacity in Neighboring Countries’ is the training programme which is launched to support researchers and investigators to strengthen their clinical trial capabilities in compliance with ICH-GCP (International Conference on Harmonization-Good Clinical Practice).
- The programme was launched to attain the objective of Ind-CEPI mission (India Centric Epidemic Preparedness) for Rapid Vaccine Development and Supporting Indian Vaccine Development which is supported by the global initiative of CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovation). Aim of Ind-CEPI mission is to support capacity building and regional networking for Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).
- Thus under this training programme launched by DBT, India wants to fulfil its commitment to achieving moto of Ind-CEPI mission.
- The Training Programme was attended by different departments of countries like Nepal, Maldives, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Afghanistan.
