‘Water Heroes – Share Your Stories’ Contest

Current Context: The ‘Water Heroes – Share Your Stories’ Contest is launched by Jal Shakti ministry. 

• The contest is launched with an aim to make aware people about the importance of water in their life and to inculcate water conservation and management strategies.
• The contest aims to strengthen water consciousness in India.
• To participate in this contest, the people will have to submit their success stories about water conservation and management in the form of a video of 1-5 minutes. They will also have to submit a write-up of upto 300 words having pictures or photos of their water conservation techniques which will depict their efforts and will also elaborate the results which they have obtained in water conservation. 
• A maximum of 10 entries will be considered for the prize awards every month. The prize amount is Rs 10,000 and a certificate.
