YuWaah: A Multi-Stakeholder Platform

Current Context: A Statement of Intent (SoI) is signed between the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and UNICEF (United Nations Children Fund) to launch a global multi-stakeholder platform named ‘YuWaah’. 

• ‘YuWaah’, the multi-stakeholder platform is launched to make youth and young people career ready. 
• It will provide entrepreneurship coaching both in online and offline manner so as to develop an entrepreneurial mindset among the young people.
• It will also boost digital skills, life skills and professional skills and ethics in them.
• YuWaah will create economic opportunities for young people by providing them jobs or by making them self-employed.
• It will also offer career guidance through career portal and will make them skilled to explore their career of choice. 
• Department of Youth Affairs will motivate experts to join YuWaah Technical Working Groups or Taskforces so as to offer training, guidance to the young people in their respective career.
