- Under this partnership, the scope of two DST initiatives namely, Vigyan Jyoti and Vigyan Prasar (Engage with Science).
- Vigyan Jyoti and Vigyan Prasar initiatives aim to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) among students, mostly in girls so that they get motivated to pursue career in STEM sectors.
- Both DST and IBM, will collaberately work to promote Science and Tech. in academic education. The promotion will be conducted through short term courses, workshop, mentorships and content communication for students as well as for teachers.
- The partnership will also offer scholarships, science visits to institutes, science camps etc.
- The mentorship related to Science and Tech. will be offered to girls from grades 9th to 12th.
