ICSSR signs pact with European Commission

Current Context: Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has signed a pact with European Commission virtually.

• They have signed a pact to enhance the scientific cooperation between them. 
• The pact was virtually signed by Member Secretary of ICSSR, Virendra Kumar Malhotra and Ambassador of European Union to India, Ugo Astuto.
• Because of this agreement, top Indian Social Scientist, who is supported by ICSSR, will be able to perform research activities in collaboration with European researchers who are supported by the European Research Council (ERC).
• The ICSSR and REC will allow contacts between respective scholar scientist who intend to work for international cooperation works.
