Current Context: First India and Luxembourg summit was held virtually.

• The summit was jointly addressed by PM Narendra Modi and by Prime Minister of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel.
• Both the nations appreciated each other for the launch of four Luxembourg satellites by ISRO in 2019. 
• Also, PM Narendra Modi welcomed and appreciated the decision of Luxembourg to join the International Solar Alliance. 
• Also, Luxembourg announced its full support to India for United Nations Security Council (2021-22).
• Both the nations agreed to increase cooperation in the sectors like trade, finance, space, ICT, sustainable development, renewable energy and solving climate change issues.
