Current Context: The BRICS Nations has adopted the counter-terrorism strategy with an aim to tackle effectively terrorism in the nations.

• The new counter-terrorism strategy adopted is based on principles like Respect to the sovereignty of BRICS Nations, Commitment to International Laws, Coordinate roles of UN, Consideration of members countries’ priorities and national interests and to adopt and follow proper approach to tackle terrorism.
