Current Context: The Government of Himachal Pradesh has entered into a partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the purpose of improvement of infrastructure facilities.
Himachal Pradesh joined hands with ADB
  • Both the state government and ADB will work to improve the infrastructure in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh (HP). 
  • The foundation stone for the same was led by CM of HP. 
  • The total estimated cost for infrastructure activities is Rs 15 crore out of which Rs 9 crore will be offered by ADB and the rest amount by the state government. 
  • Also, CM of HP inaugurated a Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) in Pandoh area and a vehicle parking building named Bhimakali at Mandi town.
  • Also, a lift water supply scheme from Kangnidhar to Dudar Bharaun in gram panchayat Dudar Bharaun of Tehsil Sadar was inaugurated by CM.
  • The foundation stone to build a new building of government primary school located at Bal Mani (U-block) was led by CM.
