Current Context: The 23rd edition of Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi virtually.

• Theme for BTS 2020: ‘Next is Now’. 
• The Summit was organized by Karnataka Government, Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Karnataka Government’s vision group on IT, Biotechnology and Startup, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications.
• The main focus of the summit was on technology and its related innovations in the fields of IT, Electronics and Biotechnology. 
• The summit also focused on technology usage in the areas like aerospace, defence, healthcare, startups etc.
