Current Context: During the digital conference of the India-led International Solar Alliance (ISA), India and Israel entered into a partnership.

• Both India and Israel partnered to reduce the carbon level and pollution in future.
• The Indian delegation was led by PM Narendra Modi and Israel was represented by its PM Benjamin Netanyahu.   
• Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu, also mentioned that solar energy would constitute over 25% of his country's energy supply by 2030.
