RE-Invest 2020

Current Context: The 3rd Global Renewable Energy Investment Meeting and Expo (RE-Invest 2020) was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

• The theme for RE-Invest 2020: ‘Innovations for Sustainable Energy Transition’. 
• The summit is organized by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and is held between 26th Nov to 28th Nov 2020. 
• The summit will observe the discussions related to renewables and future energy choices along with various exhibitions from manufacturers, developers, investors and innovators.
• The summit will be attended by 75 international ministerial delegations, 1,000 global industry leaders and 50,000 delegates. 
• The summit is organized to provide an international platform for investment promotion in the renewable energy sector and to increase the development and deployment of renewable energy. 
• The summit will also build relations between Indian energy stakeholders and the global investment community.
