Current Context: The 27th edition of India- Singapore Bilateral Maritime Exercise (SIMBEX-20) is being held from 23rd Nov to 25th Nov 2020.
SIMBEX-20
  • It is conducted in the Andaman Sea between the Indian Navy and Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).
  • India is represented by INS Rana along with integral Chetak helicopter and indigenously built corvettes Kamorta and Karmuk. Also, INS Sindhuraj and P8I maritime aircraft are part of this exercise.
  • Singapore is represented by ‘Formidable’ Class frigates ‘Intrepid’ and ‘Steadfast' along with S70B helicopter and Endurance’ Class Landing Ship Tank.
  • Static Part:
