Current Context: The 27th edition of India- Singapore Bilateral Maritime Exercise (SIMBEX-20) is being held from 23rd Nov to 25th Nov 2020.

SIMBEX-20

It is conducted in the Andaman Sea between the Indian Navy and Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).
India is represented by INS Rana along with integral Chetak helicopter and indigenously built corvettes Kamorta and Karmuk. Also, INS Sindhuraj and P8I maritime aircraft are part of this exercise.
Singapore is represented by ‘Formidable’ Class frigates ‘Intrepid’ and ‘Steadfast' along with S70B helicopter and Endurance’ Class Landing Ship Tank.
