• ‘Maha Awas Yojana’: It is launched by the Maharashtra Government. Under this Yojana, the state government aims to construct 8.82 lakhs of rural houses in 100 days. The total estimated cost for this yojana is Rs 4,000 crores.

• India becomes 4th nation in the world to have its own regional navigation satellite system which will be recognized by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). The IRNSS (Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System) will be recognized by IMO as the part of WWRNS (World Wide Radio Navigation System) for the operation in Indian Ocean Region.
