TRACE Bribery Risk Matrix 2020

As per the ranking, India is placed at the position of 77th rank, with a score of 45 in the global list.
It measures business bribery risk in 194 countries, territories, and autonomous and semi-autonomous regions.
The top positions for highest commercial bribery risk are marked by: North Korea, Turkmenistan, South Sudan, Venezuela and Eritrea.
The lowest position for commercial bribery risk is marked by: Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden and New Zealand.
The factors considered for ranking are: Business interactions with government, anti-bribery deterrence and enforcement, government and civil service transparency, the role of the media and capacity for civil society oversight.
