  • 5th India-Myanmar meet on Drug Control Cooperation: It was conducted between Narcotics Control Bureau of India and Central Committee on Drug Abuse Control of Myanmar. India was represented by Rakesh Asthana, DG of NCB. The next edition of the meet will be held in India in 2021.

  • Reserve Bank of India to set up an Automated Banknote Processing Centre (ABPC) in Jaipur, Rajasthan for the automated receipt, storage and dispatch of currency notes. ABPC will function to receive, storage the fresh banknotes coming from printing presses and then retrieve and dispatch them to issue offices of currency chests. It will also demolish the destruction of soiled banknotes in an automated manner.

  • 2nd Bangladesh-India Cotton Festival 2020: It was held at Dhaka, Bangladesh. The fest was jointly organised by Bangladesh Cotton Association (BCA), Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), Indian Cotton Association Ltd (IACL) and India–Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI). The fest was held to showcase practices undertaken by Bangladesh for the cotton industry.

  • WHO and IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies) signed ‘Red Channel Agreement’ to implement Emergency Medical Team (EMT) initiative which will strengthen the delivery of emergency medical and health facilities and services during a situation of a humanitarian crisis.
