• Quarterly Return filing and Monthly Payment (QRMP) Scheme: It is launched by Central gov. for the small taxpayers under the GST System whose aggregate annual turnover is up to Rs 5 crore in the upcoming fiscal year. The schemes allow such taxpayers to file GSTR-3B (sales) on a quarterly basis and pay tax every month with effect from 1st Jan 2021.
• The Dandupur Railway Station located between Pratapgarh and Badshahpur on Varanasi Railway Station, Uttar Pradesh is renamed as ‘Maa Barahi Devi Dham’.
• Orchha and Gwalior cities of Madhya Pradesh are included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Cities.

• Jehan Daruvala: He has become the first Indian to win Formula 2 race held at 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix, Bahrain. The second position was won by Yuki Tsunoda (Japan) and the third position was won by Daniel Ticktum (Britain).
• Sergio Perez (Mexico) (Racing point BWT Mercedes): He won the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix. The second rank is marked by Estban Ocon (Renault-France) and the third rank is marked by Lance Stroll (Racing point BWT Mercedes-Canada).
• RBI announced that the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system will be made available on 24x7 basis from 14th Dec 2020. Currently, it is available for customers between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
