Current Context: The ICICI Bank has collaborated with a digital payment solution, Google Pay to issue FASTag in a digital manner through UPI on payments app.

  • This partnership will help users to use Google Pay to order, track and recharge ICICI Bank FASTag digitally on the payment platform. 
  • Thus, ICICI Bank has become 1st Bank to partner Google Pay to allow digital issuing of its FASTag. 
  • ICICI Bank has partnered Google Pay under National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) initiative launched by NPCI by following guidelines of NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) and IHMCL (Indian Highways Management Company Ltd).
