and How India Lives released the 2nd edition of India Justice Report (IJR).
  • As per the report, Maharashtra is at the top position among the 18 large and mid-size states to provide better justice delivery.
  • The second and third positions are marked by Tamil Nadu and Telangana respectively.
  • Also, in the category of small states, the report ranking is topped by Tripura in providing better justice delivery.
  • Tripura is followed by Sikkim and Goa at second and third ranks respectively.
  • The report considers justice delivery in the areas of Police, Judiciary, prisons and Legal Aid and thus gives the rank accordingly.
