Bharat Parv-2021

Current Context: The annual event Bharat Parv-2021 was inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on 26th Jan 2021.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Tourism.
The event will be conducted from 26th Jan to 31st Jan 2021.
The event was conducted to observe and celebrate the spirit of India and showcase its cultural diversity.
The theme for Bharat Parv-2021: Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.
In this event, all the states and UTs will showcase their tourism destinations, handicrafts, cuisine and other features.
During the inauguration, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla addressed by praising the cultural diversity of India.
He also praised the importance of event undertaken by the tourism ministry to flourish and promote the cultural diversity of India.
The event was held to achieve the vision set by PM Modi that every person of India should visit at least 15 destinations by the year 2022.
