Clean and Sustainable Ocean Partnership between ADB and EIB

Current Context: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) have collaborated to enhance clean and ocean partnership between them in order to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). 

• They have also partnered to achieve climate goals under the Paris Agreement. 
• Both ADB and EIB will jointly work to protect the oceans and support the sustainable blue economy.
• Both the entities will work for initiatives which are held in the Asia-Pacific region to achieve SDG and climate protection goals. 
• This partnership will help to expand the ocean projects and technical assistance programs of both ADB and EIB.
