Gujarat Signed MoU with APSEZ

Current Context: The Government of Gujarat signed MoU with Adani Port & Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ).

• The MoU was signed to build the country’s largest multi-modal logistic park in Gujarat.
• The multi-modal logistic park will be constructed in 1450 acre of land with allotted funds of Rs 50,000 crore.
• It will be completed by 2023. 
• The multi-modal logistic park will be having a dedicated air cargo complex which will handle large size cargo aircraft.
• It will offer direct air, rail and road connecting the facility.
• It will also offer employment opportunities to around 25000 people.
• The direct rail connectivity with dedicated freight corridor which is part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) will be offered by the multi-modal logistic park.
